Days 1:Shillong

Arrival Guwahati - Shillong (100 kilometres / 3 Hours Drive)

At Guwahati Airport, our tour representative meets the tourists and takes them to Shillong. On the way, the tourists stop at the beautiful Borapani Umiam Lake for lunch. Overnight stay in a hotel in Shillong.

Days 2:Cherrapunjee

Shillong - Cherrapunjee (56 kilometres/ 1 hour drive)

Visit the Krem Mawmluh Cave, a prominent tourist attraction situated about 500 metres to the west of Cherrapunjee. With a length of 7 kilometres, the cave has five river passages with great proportions. You can explore the cave under the guidance of experts from South Asia. The fourth tallest waterfall - Nohkalikai, and other waterfalls are situated nearby.

Days 3:Cherrapunjee

After an early morning breakfast, the tourists are taken to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge. Made by the indigenous Khasi tribesmen, these bridges are tangles of massive thick roots made to help people cross over the streams. The tourists proceed to Chera Tourist Resort. The rest of the day is free for your leisure.

Days 4:Shillong

Cherrapunjee - Shillong

In the morning, the tourists head to Shillong, also known as the "Scotland of the East". On the way, visit the Elephanta Falls and also enjoy the scintillating views of the mountains.

Days 5:Shillong

Enjoy an entire day of sightseeing in Shillong. Explore the beauty of the surrounding mountains and the serene lands, and visit the nearby tourist attractions. Send Enquiry

Days 6:Kaziranga

Shillong - Kaziranga (280 Kilometres / 5 Hours Drive)

After a scrumptious breakfast, proceed to Kaziranga National Park, known for hosting about two-thirds of the world's one-horned rhinoceroses. Overnight stay at Kaziranga National Park.

Days 7:Kaziranga

Experience the mighty elephant safari and explore a wide range of species at Kaziranga National Park. After lunch, a jeep safari is arranged for the tourists. The rest of the day is free for the tourists for their own leisure activities. Overnight stay at a tourist lodge in Kaziranga.

Days 8:Tuophema

Kaziranga - Kohima (225 kilometres / 4 hours drive) - Tuophema (41 kilometres / 1 hour drive)

After breakfast, drive to Kohima and halt for lunch. Post lunch, the tourists proceed to Tuophema Village Resort, which is managed by the Angami Naga Tribe. Overnight stay at Tuophema Village Resort.

Days 9:Kohima

Tuophema - Kohima - Kepfizha

After breakfast, the tourists check-out from the resort and proceed to Kohima. After arrival at Kohima, head to the World War II cemetery. The cemetery takes you back to the horrific instances of the war and the memories of those who lost their lives fighting for the nation. Also, visit the State Museum, which is situated at Bayani Hill Kohima that showcases the imprints of the Naga culture. The museum depicts the traditional lifestyle and rich culture of the native people through the various kinds of artefacts, tools, jewellery, and weaponry.

Days 10:Dzukou

In the morning, the guests proceed to Dzukou via Jakhama Village. Located at a height of about 2438 metres, the Dzukou valley is exceptionally beautiful and nestles on the south-west of Japfu ranges.

Days 11:Kohima

Explore the Dzukou valley which is indeed a paradise for trekkers. Post lunch, proceed to Dimori Cove Guest. Overnight stay at Dimori Cove Guest.

Days 12:Kohima

Kohima - Khonoma (20 kilometres)

After check-out from the guest house, the tourists proceed to Khonoma Angami Tribal village and the home village of father of Naga Nationalist movement Angami Phizo. Situated on top of a hillock, the village radiates a beautiful atmosphere and is also the spot where the Anglo Naga War took place.

Days 13:Jorhat

Kohima - Jorhat (200 kilometres / 4 hours drive)

The tourists proceed to Jorhat (about 200 kilometres away from Kohima) and will be accommodated to Thengal Mansion, a historic ancestral house of a tea Planter. Days 14:Jorhat

Sivasagar - Ranghar -Talatol

After breakfast, the tourists depart for Sivasagar and visit the Ranghar, the military station and the capital of the Ahom kingdom. The tourists further head to Talatal Ghar, a seven-storied structure, four above ground (the Kareng Ghar) and the remaining three below ground. Also visit the Shiva Doul, Vishnu Doul and the Tombs of Ahom Kings and Queens in Charaideo Hillock.

Days 15:Majuli

Jorhat - Majuli

Early morning, go on a drive to visit the biggest river island in the world - Majuli. The island is located on the mighty Brahmaputra River. Overnight stay at Govt. Circuit House in Majuli.

Days 16:Majuli

Go on an early morning visit to the Kamalabari Satra and Auniati Satra, the centres of Vaishnavite culture. After exploring the satras, the tourists head back to the Circuit House, where they can enjoy various performances and cultural displays by the artists.

Days 17:Guwahati

Majuli - Guwahati (340 kilometres / 6 hours drive)

The tourists check-out early in the morning and proceed to Guwahati, which is about 340 kilometres away. The guests can experience an enthralling river cruise ride in the evening and delve into the beauty of the dying sun and the quiet waters. The river is locally called as "Luit", derived from the word "Lohit" which means blood. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Days 18:Guwahati

After breakfast, the tourists head to Sualchuci, which is also known as the Manchester of Assam. The Sualchuci is famous for the producing variants of silk. Get yourself vibrant traditional attire and souvenirs for your friends back home! Also visit Hajo, a pilgrimage centre. Arrive back at the hotel for lunch and the evenings are free for your leisure activities.

Days 19:Guwahati

The tourists are driven to Guwahati Airport or Guwahati Railway Station for their onward journey.
