Tour Itinerary

Days 1 : Guwahati – Shillong (100 KM. / 03 hrs approx)

Meet and assist by our representative at the airport & transfer to Shillong, called ‘Scotland of the East’ (100 kms 3 hrs). Enroute visit Umium Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills. It is a hub for the water sports activities such as speed boats, sailboats and water scooters. Adjoining to the lake, the Nehru Park offers an aviary and a collection of orchids and butterflies. On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel.

Days 2 : Shillong - Cherrapunjee - Shillong

After early breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee (60 kms, 1.5 hrs), the wettest place in the world. You will see the beautiful waterfall known as Nohkalikai, known to be world's fourth largest waterfalls. You can also explore the caves known Mawsmai, 250-meter long caves. Evening return to Shillong. en-route visit Elephanta falls and Shillong peak for some breathtaking views.

Days 3 : Shillong Sight Seeing

Post breakfast; proceed for a tour in Shillong visiting Shillong Peak; it is the highest point of Shillong, located in the upper Shillong an altitude of 1961 meters (6,433 feet). Later visit to Elephant Falls; one of the majestic waterfalls in Meghalaya. The water of these three steps falls comes down in flows from different levels over the fern-covered rocks and falls into the canyon down below. Also visit to Wards Lake and Cathedral of Mary Help of Christian.
