Tour Itinerary

Days 1 : Guwahati

After arrival in Guwahati, the tourists check-in to the hotel. The rest of the day is free for the tourists to explore the beautiful town. In the evening, go on a river cruise on the Brahmaputra River and watch the mesmerising sunset. The river is also called Luit – the colour of blood.

Days 2 : Bomdila

After breakfast, the tourists drive along the wonderful tea gardens of Tezpur to reach Bhalukpong, which is about 240 kilometres away. Drive for about 20 minutes through the curly roads overlooking the dancing ‘Bhoroli’ river and head to Tipi. The beautiful Orchidarium, a glass house having 7500 orchids, is situated in Tipi. The tourists then head to Bomdila, which is about 100 kilometres away.

Days 3 : Tawang

Tawang - Buddhist Monasteries, Tribal village, Sela pass

Early morning, the tourists visit the lower and upper 'Gompa' (Buddhist Monastery). After having a delicious breakfast, the tourists head to Tawang, the land of Monpas. Visit 'Dirang Monpa' tribal village, which is famous for the ancient architecture of stone made houses. The Sela Pass and the Jaswant-Garh Chino-Indian war memorial are situated nearby. Check-in to the hotel in Tawang. You can see the illuminated Tawang Monastery from the hotel as well.

Days 4 : Tawang

After breakfast, visit the Buddhist monastery (also known as the Gompa), which is about 350 years old. Visit Ani Gompa and Urgelling Monastery, which is about 460 years old, established by lama Urghen Sangpo Bhumthang. The Urgelling Monastery is also the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama. In the evening, the tourists can witness the graceful dance performances by the Monpa tribal community.

Days 5 : Dirang

Early morning, the tourists head to Jang to view the beautiful waterfalls. Later, head to Dirang, which is about 150 kilometers away. Dirang is a small town known for its picturesque views and scenic beauty. Enroute, have a pitstop at Sela Top. The tourists check-in to a hotel in Dirang.

Days 6 : Dirang

Dirang – Nameri National Park

In the morning, explore the mesmerising Sangti Valley and get quick glimpses of the Black Necked Tibetan Cranes that occasionally visit the valley. Post lunch, drive to Nameri National Park.
