Tour Itinerary

Days 1 : Puri

Bhubaneswar – Puri (65 kilometres)

After arrival at Bhubaneshwar Airport, our tour representative meets and drives you to Puri, which is about 45 kilometres away. The rest of the day or free for the tourists for their own leisure activities.

Days 2 : Puri

After breakfast, proceed to visit the best places of interest in Puri – Jagannath Temple, Gundicha Temple & Narendra Tank. The rest of the day is free for the tourists for their own leisure activities.

Days 3 : Puri

After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to the Sun Temple in Konark. Devoted to Surya (the “Sun” God), the Sun Temple is a holy pilgrimage that is designed as a gigantic chariot. Later, visit the Fisherman’s village before returning back to Puri. The rest of the evening is free for the tourists for their own leisure activities.

Days 4 : Gopalpur

Puri – Chilika – Gopalpur (175 kilometres / 4 hours drive)

After breakfast, proceed to Chilika Lake at Barkul. On the way, visit the Raghurajpur craft village. After arrival at Barkul, go on a boat cruise to visit the bird’s island and later head to Gopalpur.

Days 5 : Rayagada

Gopalpur – Rayagada (221 kilometres / 6 hours drive)

After breakfast, drive to Rayagada. On the way, visit Taptapani (the hot, sulphur spring) and the Saura tribal villages. After arrival at Rayagada, check-in to the hotel for an overnight stay

Days 6 : Rayagada

Rayagada - Bisamkatak

After breakfast, proceed to Bisamkatak to visit the weekly market of Desia Kondh at Dukum. Later, visit the craftsman village and interact with the craftsmen and view the handicrafts and materials. Post lunch, proceed to Niyamgiri hills, a beautiful stretch of hills that are home to the indigenous Dongria Kondh people.

Days 7 : Jeypore

Rayagada – Chatikona – Jeypore (133 kilometres / 3 hours drive) After breakfast, visit Chatikona to see the interesting weekly market of Dongriya Kondh Tribes. Later, drive to Jeypore, the second largest city in South Odisha, which means “The City of Victory”.

Days 8 : Jeypore

Jeypore – Excursion to Onkudelli

After breakfast, proceed to Onkudelli to visit the market of Bondos / Gadabas / Didayees. In the evening, visit the Ollar Gadaba tribal villages and proceed back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Days 9 : Gopalpur

Jeypore – Kunduli – Gopalpur (370 kilometres / 7 hours drive) After breakfast, proceed to Kunduli to visit the weekly market of Paraja tribes, the biggest market in the area. Later, head to Gopalpur for an overnight stay.

Days 10 : Bhubaneswar

Gopalpur – Bhubaneswar (175 kilometres /5 hours drive) After breakfast, proceed to Bhubaneshwar, visiting Khandagiri & Udaigiri Jain caves on the way. After arrival at Bhubaneshwar, check-in to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Days 11 : Bhubaneswar

In the morning, visit the tourist attractions including Rajarani, Parsurameswar, and Mukteswar & Brahmeswar. Later, proceed to the airport for the onward journey.
